Your afternoon adventure begins at 1:00 PM with a pick-up from your hotel in Cusco. Our first stop is the Cathedral, the city's most important colonial monument. This sacred landmark on the Plaza de Armas is filled with art and history. We proceed to Qoricancha, also known as the Temple of the Sun, which was once the most sacred site of the Inca Empire. In this location, visitors can observe the remarkable contrast between Inca stonework and Spanish colonial architecture.

Departing from the city center, we proceed to the surrounding hills to explore the impressive archaeological park of Cusco. At Sacsayhuamán, visitors can observe the impressive stone walls that were constructed with remarkable precision and take in panoramic views of Cusco. We will then proceed to Qenqo, a site of ceremonial significance characterized by its carved rocks, underground passages, and altars utilized for ritualistic purposes. Our journey continues to Puca Pucara, also known as the "Red Fortress." This strategic military checkpoint and resting place for travelers in Inca times will be our next stop. Our final destination is Tambomachay, also known as the Inca Baths. This site is significant for its role in water worship and purification, and it features aqueducts that still carry crystal-clear spring water.
