Traveling in Peru requires flexibility and patience. Unforeseen changes may occur without notice due to circumstances beyond our control, such as flight delays, strikes, protests, landslides, weather, or other Force Majeure events. By booking with Champions Peru Travel, you accept these potential changes without liability to the company.

Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

By reserving through our website, email, WhatsApp, or in person, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions. Participation in our services indicates full acceptance of this agreement.

Modifications to Terms & Conditions

Champions Peru Travel may update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice. Clients are responsible for reviewing this page regularly to stay informed of changes.

Booking Confirmation Process

To book a tour or trek with Champions Peru Travel, follow these steps:

1. Complete the online booking form and submit the required deposit.
2. Our sales team will contact you within 24 hours to verify your passport details, travel dates, and availability.
3. After receiving your reconfirmation, we will purchase permits and services.
4. We will send a confirmation email with a detailed invoice once your booking is confirmed.

Important:
Permits are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased. If you cancel your tour, the deposit is forfeited.

How to Book a Tour with Champions Peru Travel

Booking with us is straightforward and secure:

  • Contact us by email or WhatsApp to check availability.
  • After availability is confirmed, complete the online booking form.
  • Submit the required deposit to secure your reservation.

Required Passport Details

To confirm any tour, trek, or travel package, we require accurate passport information. Names must match the passport exactly; nicknames are not accepted.

Required details:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Passport Number (or Driver’s License if passport is pending)
  • Nationality
  • Date of Birth
  • Gender

Initial Deposit Policy

To secure a reservation, clients must make a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit:

  • USD $200 per person for standard tours and treks
  • USD $400 per person for custom tours including hotels

The deposit is used to purchase the Inca Trail and Machu Picchu permits, that are non-refundable under government regulations.

Payment methods:

  • PayPal (5% service fee covered by the client)
  • Wetravel: (3.5% service fee covered by the client)
  • Western Union (fees vary by amount)

Once a deposit is made, the client is considered to have accepted all Terms & Conditions.

Reservation Confirmation

Your tour is confirmed only after you receive a written confirmation email from Champions Peru Travel. Verbal confirmations are not valid.

Payment Policies

Accepted Payment Methods

We accept:

  • PayPal
  • We Travel ( with card or Bank Transfer )
  • Western Union
  • Cash

Clients may not start a tour until full payment is received.

Balance Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid at least one day before the tour starts.
  • PayPal and We Travel payments incur a transaction fee.

Cash Payments

  • Cash payments must be made at least one day before the tour.
  • Accepted currencies are US Dollars or Peruvian Soles.
  • Damaged, torn, or ripped bills will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Cancellation Policy

  • Notification

All cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to your travel advisor to info@championsperutravel.com. For last-minute cases, WhatsApp may be used as support, but email is still required.

  • Deposit Policy

All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable, including in cases of medical emergencies. This policy applies because permits, tickets, and reservations are non-refundable to us.

Cancellation Fees

  • 4 weeks or more before departure: loss of deposit
  • 5 days to 48 hours before departure: 50% of total tour price
  • Less than 48 hours before departure: 100% of total tour price
  • Cancellation during the trek: 100% non-refundable unless Champions Peru Travel is at fault

Changes of Dates by the Client

Date changes must be requested by email. We will review each request individually and respond promptly. While we aim to be flexible, penalties may apply depending on timing and availability.

Important:

Inca Trail and Machu Picchu permits are non-refundable and non-transferable. If dates change after permits are issued, new permits must be purchased, subject to availability.

Additional Important Considerations

  • No refunds are provided if a client cannot start or continue a tour due to health or physical conditions.
  • Any additional expenses for hotels, food, transport, or medical care are the responsibility of the client.
  • Failure to participate in a scheduled tour is considered a no-show and is non-refundable.
  • No refunds are provided for unused or omitted services.

Medical Information & Responsibilities

Clients must inform Champions Peru Travel of any medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or health concerns before booking.

  • Travelers must be in good physical condition.
  • Clients over 70 years old must provide a medical certificate.
  • We reserve the right to deny participation if health conditions pose a risk.

Travel Insurance (Highly Recommended)

Champions Peru Travel strongly recommends purchasing comprehensive travel insurance with coverage for:

  • Medical emergencies
  • Trip cancellation
  • Travel delays
  • Lost or delayed baggage

Travel insurance is the client’s responsibility.

Passport & Visa Requirements

Travelers must ensure their passport is valid for at least six months beyond their departure date from Peru. Visa requirements depend on nationality.

Champions Peru Travel is not responsible for passport or visa issues that may prevent entry into Peru.
