Sacred Valley Full-Day Tour – Itinerary

8:00 AM – Hotel Pickup in Cusco
We begin the day by picking you up from your hotel in Cusco. Sit back and enjoy the scenic drive through the Andes as we make our way to the Sacred Valley.

Alpaca & South American Camelid Farm Visit
Our first stop is a traditional Alpaca farm, where you'll meet the four native camelids of South America: llamas, alpacas, vicuñas, and guanacos. These animals were sacred to the Incas—not only for their wool, which was used for high-quality textiles, but also for their role in agriculture and spiritual rituals. You'll also witness traditional Andean weaving techniques passed down through generations.

Pisac Inca Site
Next, we explore the Pisac archaeological site, perched on a hillside with sweeping views of the valley. This impressive complex features ceremonial baths, agricultural terraces, and temples, reflecting the sophisticated engineering of the Inca civilization.

Pisac Market
After the ruins, we head into the heart of Pisac town, where you can stroll through its colorful local market. Here, Andean farmers and artisans still trade produce and handmade crafts, preserving ancient traditions and offering a glimpse into daily life.

Lunch in Urubamba
We continue to Urubamba, the valley’s vibrant center, for a relaxing buffet lunch featuring traditional Peruvian cuisine, surrounded by beautiful Andean scenery.

Ollantaytambo Inca Site
Our final visit is the remarkable Ollantaytambo ruins—a strategic military, religious, and agricultural center. With its massive terraces and ceremonial center, this site played a crucial role during the Inca resistance against Spanish conquest and is one of the few remaining Inca towns still inhabited today.

Return to Cusco or Overnight in Ollantaytambo
After the tour, we return to Cusco and drop you off at your hotel. Alternatively, you may choose to overnight in Ollantaytambo, which is ideal for travelers beginning the Inca Trail or visiting Machu Picchu the following day.
