ITINERARY

Upon your arrival at Cusco Airport, our friendly representative will greet you and take you to your hotel in the heart of Cusco city. Nestled at 3,350 meters, Cusco is known for its high altitude, so we recommend sipping a cup of Coca tea at your hotel to help with acclimatization and prevent altitude sickness.

Hotel check-in starts at 12 pm. If you arrive early, take advantage of the hotel’s complimentary luggage storage service, allowing you to explore Cusco and enjoy lunch at one of the local restaurants near Plaza de Armas.

At 1 pm, your Cusco city tour begins. The tour will take you through the Main Plaza, the perfect starting point to explore the city’s unique blend of Inca and colonial history. You’ll then visit Qoricancha, the heart of the Inca Empire, offering fascinating insights into Cusco’s rich cultural heritage.

Next, you’ll be transported to the stunning Sacsayhuamán, the largest and most distinctive of the Inca sites in the area. Explore its impressive architecture and learn why it stands apart from other sites like Machu Picchu.

Continue your journey with visits to Qenqo, Pucapucara, and Tambomachay, smaller yet significant Inca sites, each with its own unique story. Your expert guide will provide in-depth information at each location, ensuring you capture the best moments and understand the historical significance of these landmarks.

Our unforgettable Trips to Machu Picchu tour package begins with a hotel pickup at 8 am. We’ll depart from Cusco in private transportation, making our first stop at an Alpaca farm, where you’ll meet four unique South American camelids: llamas, alpacas, guanacos, and vicuñas. Learn about their importance in ancient Inca culture as your guide explains the distinctions between each species.

Next, we head to Pisac, once the capital of corn and potato cultivation in ancient times. Depending on the season, you’ll witness the farming areas in action. At the Pisac Inca site, embark on a walking tour through the famous circular Andean terraces, ancient rooms, and intricate water fountains.
